Ward Hungarian Dance

This semester in my singles ward we had a Hungarian Dance. Our bishop is big on this dancing saying that their is at least 4 couples that get engaged from it. haha. The whole process is that both the guys and the girls in the ward make a list of 5 people they would want to go to the dance with in the ward. Then the relief society president and elders quorum president match the people up and the boys ask the girls out. I got asked by Bryson :) here is how he asked me-

I answered by getting a pear fruit. and wrote a note saying "Bryson, YES!!! I think that we would make a great "Pear" :) -Kristin...... Sadly I didn't take a picture of that but yeah.

So for the dance the attire was formal and I was lucky enough to borrow Lani my roommates Prom dress that was really cute and fit perfectly. The dance was really fun we had a yummy dinner and danced all night. After the dance we went to the boys apartment and played mario cart (which I am really bad at haha) and got frostys from Wendys. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Bryson was an awesome date, we all had a great time.

SYTYCD Auditions

This year we went to watch So You Think You Can Dance auditions in Saltlake at the Capital Theatre. It was an awesome experience it is really cool to see how they run things and to see Nigel, Mary, Adam, and Cat. Utah really did represent there were lots of amazing dancers and I new some of them so that made it fun. Now I'm wishing SYTYCD was on tv right now but I guess I will have to wait till May.

Lady Antebellum

Okay last night for Valentines day I went to Lady Antebellum with Candi, Liz, and Sara. It was epic so good we rod up to Sandy and then took the trax to Saltlake and got food and enjoyed the show. It was packed so many people. This picture they had a pink piano :)

Haha I find it funny that the tickets say Utah Jazz vs. Lady Antebellum. Fail on Energy Solutions. Although that would be interesting to see

Okay and in American Honey song they pulled up this cute 3 year old and sang with her it was adorable. Lady A was amazing live. Seriously the BEST concert!

Happy Valentines Day!

These are the gifts that I got from my kindergarteners so sweet!

The valentines I made for my kindergarteners. "I like you, you make me "snicker" Happy valentines day, love miss hunsaker. The kids loved them! Their reaction was "Wow that is miss hunsaker it looks like she is really holding the snickers, so cool! Haha I am glad they loved them.

This past Saturday was my sister in-law Misty's Baby shower for her baby boy due in March. And I got to make the poster for the shower. It was really fun! The theme of the shower was pop and we all had a great time. Can't wait for the baby boy to come.

Thursday night me and my mom got free tickets to Romeo and Juliet part of Shut up and Dance who was performed by Odyssey Dance Theatre. They were amazing, seriously stunning.

Later that night I went to The Vow with Andrea, Lani, and Candi. I was really excited like waiting months for this to come out and to be honest I gave it too much hype. Although it was really really good I was just expecting more. I wont give it away but go and see it it is really cute. Not a tear jerker for me though. Haha at the end of the movie I told my friends all I really wanted was to cry..... (sad face) haha maybe it was the crazy midnight audience that was screaming everytime channing tatum did anything. Maybe next time I see it :)

This week at work (school) we had the reading week and the school had a contest who could have the best door. So our teacher asked me and Simone to take charge and we ran with it. We decided and door that opened and showed the kids drawings of their favorite books would be a great idea. So we put everything together glamed everything up with glitter :). and had the kids write on the door and make the cute glitter bugs we were ready. Sadly we didn't win darn it would have been fun to see the kids win. Oh well we had fun doing it.
