Women's Conference

Saturday was amazing! I was able to go up to Women's Conference with my Mom, Lydia, and Mccall. We were sad that Sara, Misty, and Nicole couldn't come but until next time. We went up early and looked around the shops at City Creek then went to dinner at Kneaders. This year the Women's Conference invited the 8 and up young women and that hasn't happened since 1991. I can't believe that Mccall is 11 and will be in young women's next year. She is growing up so much and I love her to death. It was a great time.

Here are some words that stood out to me;
We have been sent on this earth for this time.
We are prepared for this trying times to come.
We need to be a disciple of Christ  ready to serve and teach the gospel.
Serving the Lord and keeping his commandments must be a desire of our hearts.
Before earth Christ helped tutor us about the trials that we would receive and how we can get through them.
We are one of the few chosen to be born in the covenant and he knew it wouldn't be easy.
The friendships we make with other women in the gospel that we serve will stay with us.
He sees that we are choosing the right and striving to keep his commandments.
Christ see endless potential in us more than we can even imagine.
He will provide us help through others to make it back to him again.

I love this gospel!

Until We Meet Again

About 2 weeks ago we patiently awaited Russ and Misty's news of what the gender of they're baby was going to be. But we were saddened to find out that they were going to have a baby girl and she wouldn't live after birth or very long. Its called Anecephaly which means they lack a brain and skull, it is very rare. I was heart broken... I cried for a long time. I thought how could this happen to my sweet brother and sister in law. I couldn't grasp that we wouldn't be welcoming a new baby into our family in July. But in the weeks to come with many prayers and visiting the temple I felt a peace and knowing that this is the plan that heavenly father had for our family. I saw how strong Russ and Misty were and how they kept they're faith through everything. After Misty's long labor both families were able to meet sweet and perfect Olivia Misty Hunsaker. She was able be blessed and given a name. She was with us and had a heartbeat for 3 hours and 14 minutes. I remember feeling sad that we wouldn't be able to keep her here but at the same time I felt an enormous amount of love for everyone in the room and peace I never have felt before. The spirit was very promenade in the room as we all held her. I knew that she had just come from heaven and she was only here to receive her body and return to our heavenly father. I can't explain the impact she has had on my life. I really feel that I have an angel watching over me and I know that she is with our loved ones that have past away and those to come.

On Tuesday we had Olivia's graveside and it was perfect. I am truly grateful for Russ and Misty, they are a great example to me and I am so thankful for them to let me be apart of Olivia's life. I know that families are eternal that they're family will be reunited as well all of us. Love you Russ, Misty, Bryce, and Olivia

"The Lord takes many away even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were to pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again." - Joseph Smith

I love this mormon message. I can't even imagine having to go through an experience like this or having to forgive someone for taking your family. It reminds me how short our lives are here on earth. I am constantly reminding myself that when I am lonely or down that the people I love my savior, dear family and friends they are THE most important things in my life and they're always near. My life is so blessed and I have amazing examples in my life and in this world, like this man and the forgiveness he so strongly showed.

Something that struck me what he said.
"I am grateful that God allows tragedies and trials to occur in our lives, not because they're easy or because they're desired but because they help us love."

I love this gospel and the peace it brings in my life!

March

We have had many birthdays in my family recently Mccall (11) Keaton (11) This cutie Bryce (2) Sam (9)!
Monday was St. Patricks day I lately I have been feeling crafty so I decided to make my roommies and visiting girl this cute gift. Not exactly how I wanted to turn out but it was fun!
This morning I got a big surprise when I went into work that it was on FIRE. Apparently there was a electrical fire in the attic and everyone was evacuated for the day. But thats not it I don't have work tomorrow because we cannot return to the building because of the damage from smoke/water. Awesome :( not luckily I don't have to ship this friday but as soon as we are allowed to come back it we will have so much to do. But for now I am just waiting.
Tonight we celebrated Emily's birthday she turned the big 20! So glad that my roommate are my good friends too! Love them!
And the crafting continued I decided to make this banner for Emily!

a full heart

My heart today was overwhelmed with the love the Lord has for me. Today at church I feel that everything that was said was meant for me to hear. I have an amazing ward and can't describe fully how wonderful they are. I am so blessed to be in contact and love being around them. In all of my classes the theme seemed to be trials, blessing, God's love, and the holy ghost.

Some notes I took were
The atonement can heal all wounds and with the strength of the lord we can do ALL things.
The holy ghost is vital in order to have the atonement real and to feel it.
The holy ghost gives us personal revelation if we are seeking it.
God loves perfectly.
Take more quiet times to listen to the holy ghost so the spirt can be present and pray for peace.

Lastly, I know that with out a doubt that no matter what I do or what I'm going through God LOVES ME unconditionally and that I can get through trials and this life if I put my trust in him and be converted to this gospel.
